Stephen Curry leaves door open to leaving Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry, who was selected seventh overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, spent 15 seasons as a member of the Golden State Warriors.

The best shooter in the game is difficult to see playing for any other squad.

But you never know what the future holds for his fellow Splash Bro, especially since Klay Thompson was forced to go on after 13 years.

Curry, 36, still has two years left on his Golden State contract. He will get $55.7 million in this season and $59 million the following year.

But after that, Curry, who is 38 years old, becomes a free agent. Are the Warriors still interested in Curry and prepared to pay him what?

Once more, it's hard to imagine the Warriors forcing Curry to leave the city, but not for the future Hall of Famer.

Curry was recently asked if he would be willing to stay on if the Warriors needed to rebuild.

Curry has personal experience with how rapidly things can shift in the NBA, especially when dealing with legendary players like Klay Thompson.
